Napa Valley Dance Center is located in the heart of Downtown Napa with easy access from Main and Soscol Street. As with all great locations, we have plenty of parking and a drop-off curb space right at the front door. Our lobby shares a space with Back Stage Dancewear where you can shop for all your dance needs, get properly fitted for shoes and much more.

We are within easy walking distance to the Oxbow Market, gourmet shops, coffee houses, 5 star restaurants, and many specialty boutiques to enjoy.

Our dance floor is our pride and joy, an unobstructed 1517sq. ft. space built solely for creating, educating and practicing the art of dance. The area runs roughly 37ft. X 41ft. Our larger wall is lined with new 6’ tall mirrors. Ballet barres of various heights line the other 3 walls. Two windows open to the outside for natural sunlight and two 3’x6’ are for viewing from the lobby. Parents can relax and watch their dancer(s) in action.

The ceiling is a 20’ arched “bungalow style” roof, giving an amazing open air feeling of freedom. 2 large silent industrial fans circulate air throughout the space.

We have specially installed a hardwood floating (sprung) floor, replaced completely in January of 06’. For those who are not in the dance floor business: A sprung floor is a floor that absorbs shocks giving it a softer feel. Such floors are considered the best available for dance, indoor sports and physical education. They enhance performance and greatly reduce injuries. Modern sprung floors are supported by foam backing or rubber feet. In short: it’s prevention care for our dancers knees, ankles and all other shock absorbing joints.
